As most of you are aware there are many social networking sites about now like MySpace, facebook etc. These sites are primarily for keeping up with friends and family and for making new friends. Most users love to customize their profile and user pages. I mean who wants a bland looking background when the whole point of these sites is to get people to notice you. There’s alot of people on these sites so you need to stand head and shoulders above the crowd. Afterall its a great way for letting people see a bit of your personality without actually seeing you. With a little effort you can definately make your Myspace/facebook background look unique and more beautiful than other myspace users pages.

Well with all this in mind and being a female I wanted my site to be quite girlie so I began trawling the net to see what backgrounds I could find. Lots of sites have backgrounds but the actual quality of the images themselves is quite low, which really spoils your page. Many sites are full of popups that you never actually get to the background you thought you had clicked on.

So after all my trawling of the web, all you fellow girlies this is what I think makes the best cute backgrounds for your pages. Sparkly and glittery images look so cool on your page. Lots of nice pink backgrounds for a start. All shades of pink from deep fuscia, barbie pink to baby pastel pink. Pretty backgrounds like cuddly bunnies, bears, little lambs, squirrels, etc. On a couple of my profiles I have used pictures of really cute ducklings and bambi.

Other great types of image to use are Pink heart backgrounds which you can find in abundance, and beautiful flower images in loads of different pastel colors.

And of course all of these images you can find, once downloaded, can be used for your computers desktop background picture as well which is really cool.
